First public meeting to brain-storm a name and elicit people begin the project in earnest. Those present chose the name 'Trent Student Facility' With the following mission: To purchase an existing building in the City of Peterborough close to a Trent bus route to create and operate a non-profit, cultural and educational student facility. sponsored and operated by the students of Trent University to be shared with the community as a whole and governed by an independent Board of Directors?

The TCSA Board of Directors ratify the Election and Referendum results. John Muir (Chair - "Yes Campaign Committee") is notified so that those involed may move forward with further planning. |

Polling closes on the Referendum administered by the Trent Central Student Association With the majority of voting students supporting the creation of a $22.00 to support the building project. The Referendum made quorum making the results binding. |
