Providing space for student and community life is one of the primary mandates of Sadleir House. In addition to offering rooms and offices for rent, Sadleir House also maintains common spaces in the collegiate tradition to be enjoyed by the community. Common Spaces are open whenever the building is open and offer wireless internet access and comfortable seating for quiet study, reading, or generally hanging around.
Current Common Spaces are:
The Senior Common Room on the 2nd floor of Sadleir House is a set of three sitting rooms, ideal for individuals or groups. Doors separate the rooms so that those looking for a quiet space and those who might be a little louder can both make use of the suite. A coffee & tea machine is available in the suite, allowing for affordable ($1) access to hot beverages to enjoy while sitting in the iconic turret windows. Partial rental of the Senior Common Room during may occur during regular opening hours, but at least one room is always open.
On the third floor of Sadleir House in Room 301 is a general open-space area with comfortable chairs and couches perfect for quiet reading or small group gatherings.
