Basic Charges

Trent Student Groups:

FREE! During regular house hours.
$5 + staffing after-hours.

Individual / Community Groups:

  1. Non โ€“ Profit $15 + HST /hour; Series Rate: $10 + HST / hour
  2. Private $20 + HST /hour; Series Rate $15 + HST / hour

A staffing charge of $11.65/hr will be applied to any bookings that occur outside of the regular Sadleir House operating hours.

Sadleir House recognises that not all users will be able to afford the set rates for space rental and therefore welcomes groups or individuals to contact us to negotiate a more affordable rate.

Additional Rates:
Sound Equipment & Technician: $100-150 depending on specific setup.
Equipment only: $30-50 depending on equipment and setup.
Kitchen Rentals: Contact us for rates.
Liquor License: Sadleir House is licensed by the AGCO. Please contact us directly if you are interested in having alcohol served at your event. Cost will include a bartender and security person for the duration of your event.

Group Definitions
Trent Student Groups:

  1. Non-levy โ€“ registered Trent student group with TCSA
  2. Small levy โ€“ Trent student group with levy of less than $9
  3. Large levy โ€“ Trent student group with levy equal/more than $9

Individual / Community Groups:

  1. Non โ€“ Profit โ€“ any individual or group not operating for personal gain.
  2. Private โ€“ any individual or group operating for personal gain or for private functions.

Groups seeking a discounted rate for their booking should contact the Convenor to receive a sponsorship application form and more information.

Amenities
We have many amenities to offer our patrons, including:

  • Music Stand(s)
  • Television& VCR/DVD Player
  • Overhead Projector
  • Flip Chart & Markers
  • Portable Stereo system
  • Storage Space (limited)
  • Coffee Station (in SCR or in situ)

Please let us know ahead of time if you require the use of any of these, or have any other special requests and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. If you need to rent equipment from a third party for your event (eg dishes, sound gear etc.) we will be happy to arrange the rental and add the cost to your invoice.
