The P. R. Community & Student Association invites applications to fill the position of Program Development Officer, available at Sadleir House in Peterborough, Ontario. Celebrating its tenth year of operation, Sadleir House is an independent, non-profit educational facility owned by the students of Trent University and shared with the community as a whole.
The P. R. Community & Student Association (Sadleir House Facility) announced today deferral of their plans to repurchase the remainder of the Peter Robinson College properties. The project, first announced during anniversary celebrations in the summer of 2014, originally outlined a five year plan to repurchase the properties from owner Gabriele Zeh-Abramsky, in partnership with the Peterborough Student Coop. Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of the control of either party, Zeh-Abramsky was forced to sell the properties ahead of schedule.
Sadleir House was founded on a philosophy of collegiality which supports ideas of informal education to enrich the lives of members of the Trent and Peterborough communities. It is incorporated as the P. R. Community & Student Association (Sadleir House Facility) and is a registered charity and non-profit community and student organisation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
