Sadleir House (also known as P. R. Community and Student Association)
is a not-for-profit charitable community centre.

  • I love how busy and active the house is. One night while I had booked a room for a D&D session with friends, there was a meeting of a student art collective downstairs, while there was a rock-n-roll show in the John.

  • Sadleir House is our most accommodating, friendly, economical, and only easy-to-book option as a rehearsal space. In our case it is theatre, but I know from musical groups it works well for them, too. Upstairs is also a good performance space for small theatre. The spaces are beautiful, the staff helpful. We'll be back next year and some of us will be back before then to rent for other reasons.

  • The decor and the vibes of the house are really good for studying and staying focused. The art of the walls makes it really feel like a community and I loved attending Trent Film Society screenings.

  • They have been extremely helpful to our small grassroots organization in providing us affordable office rental space, working with us when we needed some temporary storage, and providing support and advice.

  • When I moved back to Peterborough the community aspect of Sadlier house helped me to make real connections again.

  • I loved studying in Sadlier this year - I swear that the sunlight, art, and free coffee were the only things that kept me going long enough to write my thesis.
